Who/What is Blue Gyre
Blue Gyre is the audio sculpting ensemble of Nigel Jacobs and Darrel Mayers. We build complex layers and textures of enigmatic sounds from the live interactions of violin, guitar, voice, percussion, and found instruments. We work with video performance groups to create a complete audio visual experience.
CD: Sounds In Mind and Body
Sounds In Mind and Body is Blue Gyre's second CD, and represents a creative nadir of unsurpassed audable excellence. It was produced in Austin in 2004.
